He is a graduate from Tribeca Flashpoint Media Arts Academy, with focus in Cinematography and Directing.

He previously earned a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from McGill University in Montreal, where he created several short films in his spare time. After working in engineering and marketing for five years, he decided to turn his childhood obsession with film into a career.

His diverse portfolio consists of various short films, music videos, and corporate work, for clients which include the Chicago Blackhawks, North Coast Music Festival, Comcast SportsNet, NPR, GrubHub, FCBX, Burberry, and Young Chicago Authors. He also works for the Second City Network on a regular basis as a Director of Photography for their original web content. Currently residing in Chicago, he has also lived in Argentina, Bolivia, Canada and France, and plans to continue exploring the world, finding stories to tell along the way.


Kino Square is a production group run by Sebastian Lama.

It is intended as a public meeting space at the heart of the Chicago film scene.

It is a destination for people with strong opinions seeking a voice to express them.

Created in 2013, the group is dedicated to coming up with creative ways to make them happen, No matter the budget.
